A little bit of stress can be good and keep us motivated and alert. Too much stress can lead to anxiety, loss of sleep, headaches and general discomfort. There are lots of ways to manage stress. You can learn relaxation techniques (see below) or even use physical activity as an outlet.
With the stress of grades, relationships and finances we all feel down once in a while. However when the blues turn into an ongoing feeling that begins to affect they way you think and act, it might be depression.
Sometimes it may seem that it is impossible to escape the stress of college life, however learning to stop and relax can help you to handle your anxiety in a healthy way.
