Written by tobacco control professionals and cessation counselors, with the help of ex-smokers and experts, this app is designed to help you prepare to quit smoking and support you in the days and weeks after you quit.
The app allows you to search for content using keywords, save specific pages as favorites, and share information you are reading via Facebook, Twitter, and email. It also provides insight into what to expect when you quit and how to deal with problems that may come up in your journey to be smoke free.
Being prepared, having information at the ready, and staying connected to a larger online community can help get you through the hard times.

Quitlines are staffed by counselors trained specifically to help smokers quit. Telephone Asian Smokers Quitine Standard phone minutes apply Asian Smokers Quitline The Asian Smokers’ Quitline is a free nationwide Asian-language quit smoking service operated by the Moores Cancer Center at the University of California, San Diego. The Quitline offers self-help materials, one-on-one telephone counseling to quit smoking, and a free two-week starter kit of nicotine patches. Quitline services have been proven in clinical trials to double a smoker’s chances of successfully quitting. Services are available in four languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Vietnamese). The Quitline also provides information to friends and family members of tobacco users. Funded by a grant from the CDC.
